Long John Silvers in Walker

It's the place to go for fish and clams. The fish sandwich there is better than McDonald's. The clams are prepared differently depending on which restaurant you visit. The Long John Silver's I like to visit serves them batter dipped with pepper. Excellent. The food was good. The staff was very friendly. Price was average.

Good food great service.

If you like fried fish they do it right. If you like Cole slaw it is good. If you like little balls of fried corn bread, who does it better?

Sign not turned on but yes, they were open. Didn't have change for us. Didn't have enough hushpuppies for us. Ordered #5 which is a 2 piece fish meal. Got 1 fish, 1 chicken. Supposed to get another piece of fish when it was ready, never happened. I will not ever go back. This used to be a good place, not now!

6 filet for $10 excellent deal a lot, of meat for the money.

Food is over priced for what you get. The food is greasy, cold and the service sucks.

Wanting a fish meal for supper today, I had to come here. The service was fast and quick like. Staff were friendly. Lots of smiles around. Oh yes, the fish plate meal was hot and delicious.

Almost a 6-8 minute wait, to order and then another 6 minutes of so per car to move, and of course got the order wrong...

Super personal, helpful and pleasant. One of the first restaurants to even offer me senior discount. Went through the drive thur, order was spot on. Thanks for the pleasant experience

This door was not too bad. It was quick to get my order and to get my food to me and the food was hot fresh and delicious. The staff was not super friendly but they were okay. The store looked pretty decent from the outside but could use some detailed cleaning. I did not go inside so I cannot review the inside of the store.

Nice service drive through or pickup only during covid

We pulled to the speaker tonight, (4/26/19), and waited for service. After 5 minutes, we pulled to the service window. Nothing. We knocked on the window 3 times. All we got were blank looks from the 3 employees, (1 young woman and 2 young men). It was 7:55 PM. Closing time was clearly marked as 10:00 PM. What is the reason? If they unexpectedly had to close, a quick trip to the window would have worked wonders. We moved on to Culvers, and spent our money there. Someone needs to check this out. I hope to hear from you, but we will see.

I gave it three stars because the food was hot and it was good. But for the price, I think it's ridiculous that the combo meals don't come with drinks. And because I don't live terribly close to a Long John Silver's. I was disappointed to get home and find that they forgot the coleslaw with my meals. I don't eat here very often because it's not convenient to where we live, but I don't think I'll be making any special trips for it again anytime soon. I made the trip this time because it's what my fiance wanted for Father's Day dinner. When a combo meal is already nearly $10 and then a small drink is an additional $2 and then I didn't even get all the food I ordered, we could go out to eat and pay that.

Hot chicken planks and friendly staff,you don't go wrong here!

I haven't eaten at an LJS in years. Stopped in to try their fish/shrimp taco trio. Great staff, fast service, and surprisingly good tasting food. Will be back again.

Staff is friendly, and the food comes out super hot and fresh. What now could you ask for?

The food was good and the employees were very friendly. The lobby was clean but they need a different mop when cleaning the lobby floor. It felt very slick like there was a thin layer of grease coating it.

Drive through speaker was not functional, but they met me at the window to apathetically tell me that I needed to go inside to order, even though they could have taken my order right then and there. I've had issues with long waits in the past, subsequent trips have not left me impressed.

Food is great tasting. Reasonable prices. Comfortable seating area. Staff is friendly, efficient and thorough. Big and clean parking lot. Bathrooms are clean and spacious.

I love long john silver's, this visit our batter was not cooked and messed up taste on fish. Normally its better.

The staff here is ALWAYS upbeat and great. Food tastes fine. Only gripe is the speed of getting your food, sometimes the wait is like I'm at a sit down restaurant.

Stopped here for lunch on our way to Grand Haven and my short visit was superb. The staff was very friendly, the service was fast, and the food was fresh and delicious. I appreciated the staff allowing me to use my gift card after I completed my transaction.

Was I pleasantly surprised to find a nice selection of non fried foods such as vegetables but was very happy to see baked potatoes included as a side for fifty cents extra. The fish, hush puppies, and coleslaw have not changed! Yum !

Food was fresh , however I ordered quite a bit of food and several items were missing so I had to drive back the next day. 45 minutes away so not a happy camper.

For a fast food restaurant, they have the best fish fried and baked that I have had anywhere. Their chain fortunately is the same everywhere. I have never gotten a bone in my fish which doesn't see like a big deal until you get one in your throat. The service is always good and friendly.

Food takes forever, they need more help and mixed up my order

Food freshness gets 5 stars. Order was messed up but they fixed it. You could tell the manager was frustrated. The communication between staff was poor and the execution of orders was hindered because of it. (We dined in and witnessed 3 messed up orders not including ours)

Great food ! They have whatever kind of seafood from cod, salmon, whitefish, shrimp etc. They have basket deals ,, dinner duoor just make your own ! Casual dining ! Ring their bell telling them "" Good Food "" they'll say ""Thank- You every Time"'!!!!!

Long John silvers Plainfield was a shame when it closed I still do business at the Alpine establishment it seems to always be run well and I’ve never been disappointed with the food let’s not lose one of the only ones on the north and we have thank you Long John Silver’s

The staff was super friendly. . They took time to talk to us and make sure we got her order, right? And then when we sat down there were a couple of small things that were wrong about the order and they quickly rectified it and went above and beyond to make sure that we had a pleasant dining experience. We definitely would visit that one again. You guys rock? At the Alpine Long John Silver's

Amazing customer service! Lashondra was so friendly every time we interacted with her or heard her talking to other customers. She made sure we had everything we needed and kept my Husband topped up on his all you can eat fish! Her and all the staff we saw were working hard keeping the place clean and making sure everyone was taken care of. It really just made for a great lunch!
